We are PixelWorks, a remote-first company building tools used by thousands of teams worldwide. Our engineering team is growing and we need a Principal Platform Engineer to help us reach the next level. You will work alongside a senior team with high standards and a strong culture.

What You'll Do:
- Improve system reliability, performance, and observability
- Contribute to engineering roadmap planning and sprint execution
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define technical requirements
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response efforts
- Identify and address technical debt to keep the codebase healthy

What We're Looking For:
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex ideas to all audiences
- Experience shaping long-term technical vision and strategy
- Demonstrated impact at the company or industry level
- Strong external presence through publications, talks, or open source
- 10+ years of deep expertise in your domain
